Hide & Rideis a board game for iPhone, iPad and Mac: one player is the Phantom who rides a city's public transport in secret, the others are detectives. Hide & Ride does not collect, transmit or sell any personal data.

Nothing is collected

The game contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking SDKs and no crash reporting of its own. There are no user accounts and nothing to sign in to.

It works offline

The game makes no network requests of its own and never contacts our servers. The city plans, the music and everything else it needs are inside the app.

What stays on your device

Your settings, the names of the players you type in, a game in progress, the history of finished games and the chat messages and reactions of a game are stored locally on your device so the game can remember them. They are never sent anywhere. Deleting the app deletes them.

Purchases

Hide & Ride is distributed through the App Store. Downloads and in-app purchases (cities) are handled entirely by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We receive no payment details or personal information from them, only the aggregate sales reports Apple gives every developer.

This website

The website at hide-and-ride.xfanta.com uses privacy-friendly, cookieless Vercel Analyticsto count aggregate page views. It does not identify individual visitors. The day or night board you pick on the site is remembered in your browser's local storage and never leaves it.

Children

Because the game collects no data from anyone, it collects none from children either.
