The Phantom rides a real city's transit network in secret; the others see only the ticket he used. He shows himself after moves 3, 8, 13, 18 and 24. The detectives must catch him before he lasts all 24 moves.

A real game, computer against computer, on the Prague board. The Phantom rides hidden; yellow marks the places he may be.
How to play
One player is the Phantom, the others are detectives. It is played on a schematic map of a city's transit.
Five times he shows up
After moves 3, 8, 13, 18 and 24 the Phantom appears on the board. In between, the detectives work out from his tickets where he could have got to.
The detectives close in
A detective who rides onto the Phantom's stop wins. The Phantom wins if he lasts all 24 moves, or if the detectives have nowhere left to go.
The Phantom has tricks
Only he may take the boat along the river, and only he has the double move: two rides in a row. The taxi is everyone's joker: one stop along any line on land.

Every ride costs a ticket, and tickets run out. Ride only the metro and you will soon ride only the bus. The counts are Prague's; every city has its own.

Play the Phantom, one detective or all of them. The computer takes the other seats, at two levels.

Pass the device round; one of you is on the move at a time. The Phantom moves behind a cover screen while the others look away.

The detectives sit round a shared board on an iPad or a Mac. The Phantom moves in secret on his iPhone; only he sees his record.
